Calling all those with an engine raise on a 67/68 RHD Bay Im in the process of raising the box and engine in my bay now and need to sort out an extended clutch cable problem is I can't fine one! mines 3243mm as standard and need at least another 100mm to reach the clutch arm on the AB beetle...

has anyone got any tips for changing a main shaft bearing? ( the one behind the nosecone ) mines shit it pants and needs changing desperately.. don't have any tools to take the gearbox to bits though.. anyone ever had any luck with a puller?

Hey eventually managed to get the pitman arm off my steering box to remove it (using a £5 from ebay no less ;) ) and drained all the old oil/grease/crap that was inside, im ready to fill with fresh oil but the little red bung is completely u/s. does anyone know where i can get a new cap?
