68' lock set

ive read somewhere that the 68' has a different type of lock barrel/ignition barrel.. is this a thing?

Yup it is a thing, 68's have the push button handles

Actually saying that I know that the cam thing that operates the lock mechanism on the front locks is 68 only as I had to buy a full handle to get a replacement.

Lock cylinder for '68 model year is different to later versions.
