The Turd, 1969 sunroof van refresh, finished and driving

Haven't been on here in a while again. Here's a sunny February day pic (a bit chilly to have the sunroof open). Only been driven a few hundred miles in the past few years but the original paint still shines like new. Been busy with other projects. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute more...

    Original Baywindow Workshop Manual

I have had this for years and thought I would see if somebody else could use it or want it for their collection. It is a very comprehensive guide on how to fix pretty much everything body wise on a bay window. It even has all of the factory measurements and dimensions etc. It has some type 1...

    1969 Portugese Panel Van

If you powder coat your rims, you need to but out the powder coating out of the lug seats. If you don't you can torque down the wheels but the thick powder coating ends up cracking and falling out and then it leaves you with loose wheels which can fall off    Use a razor...

71 Sierra Yellow, OG paint refresh

Well I thought I would button up this thread. Yesterday the bus was picked up to start its journey to its new owner. VERY sad to see it go. I know I'll kick myself for selling this one but with too many vehicles one had to go. I lifted the front end a few spines for the trip to help with loading...

original paint 70 westy hardtop, "The Lunch Box"

They must just look that way in the picture. They are stock sized 7.00r14 cross plies. With the proper load rating for a heavy camper :D

71 Sierra Yellow, OG paint refresh

I believe the new owner lurks on here, but I'll respect his privacy and let him chime in if he wants. The new project will have an emphasis on keeping it as original as possible. It should be tidy but being a camper I want to be able to go down a gravel road without sweating it. I've been...

71 Sierra Yellow, OG paint refresh

I really didn't want to sell this bus!! Its was my only lowered vehicle but having three bay (two of which are deluxe's) one had to go. The beige bus is a keeper so I had to decide to let go this one. I got a few small outing in it drove it around town which made it worth it but i'll be sad to...

71 Sierra Yellow, OG paint refresh

Well it's official, the 71 is now sold. :( This was one of the last trips to the beach in the 71 last fall. The "big man" always loves cruising home in the middle seat after a swim in the ocean.
