    Testing the water

I have got a '69 UK Danbury tintop, numbers matching bus, but has all usual rust issues, in need of full resto. I have a lot of replacement panels already, but circumstances have changed and I am considering selling this on, any ideas what sort of value it has?

    Kadron spares

Lowbugget or kaddieshack in the US are the best places for spares for Kadrons. Jeff at Kaddieshack is very helpful, and the Lowbugget website has lots of useful info! Good luck!

    chassis sections

I need to replace all top hat and I sections in my '69 Danbury. Where is the best place to get these sections from? I had been told to try Autocraft, but they only do split ones, how much different are these to Early bay ones? As this van is to be a keeper I want to use the best I can get...

So, work has finally started, tho not a whole lot. Windows have been pulled out to check apertures, only one is bad, but that complete panel is kippered!!!!! Hope to try and track down a usable replacement! Its the panel the fuel filler sits in, if anyone knows of one for sale or of a company...

    velvet green panel

That is gorgeous!!!! That makes 3 early bay panels in Velvet Green I have seen now!!! One at VanFest, one down Andover way, and this one! Our '69 Danbury was originally Velvet Green and will be going back to that when I can find a panel to replace the one where the fuel filler sits!!!!!

    '68 Resto

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one taking on a massive resto!!! At least I have the advantage of having most of the parts I need, just a few more major body parts to buy, and some chassis outriggers would be useful, as mine seem to be almost non-existent!!!!! Good luck with your resto...

Body colour is gonna be going back to his original Velvet Green, that way the dash will match the body, plus you dont see many bays in Velvet Green!!!

Rusty, our '68 registered '69 model tintop Danbury

Curtains and upholstery wont be original as they have already been wrecked at some point in the '70s!!!!!! Cushion fabric is quite appalling!!!!! Will be a tasteful resto tho!

Rusty, our '68 registered '69 model tintop Danbury

Got the complete interior with him, just stripped it out already to rebuild it. Gonna replace the jigsaw puzzle bed with a rock 'n' roll bed, but other than that it will be fairly original.
