    To Gasket seal or not? That is the question.

    Right hers another numpty question. When refiting my nose cone do I used gasket sealer or just the gasket. Of course the surfaces will be clean. And how tight do I do the nuts up, I have a habit of overtighening things up and then snapping a Bolt off.

    Gearbox help

    Ive got an oil leak coming out if the big shaft where the clutch fits last time I had the engine out I replaced the seal. There seems to be a bit of play in the shaft. is a big job to get to it from the inside or is there another way of doing it.

    How easy is it to replace the seals in these places Leaking around the gear selector shaft bit. Clutch leaver. It's wet around here but can't see a visible leak, CPU Is it be blowing back form one of the other leaks. Gearboxes are a new territory for me.
