Got a surprise windfall, ending up with £300 to spend.

Vans running well at the mo been dropped 2 splines at the rear, spindles and adjusters at the front with standard wheels, csp shifter so i'm looking at the shinny end of things :D

What should i buy  :?:

get some ratty delux bit, beltline, vent trim, bumper trims etc then buf the hell out of it all. i'm sure 300 notes should cover that

Hi!

Well for far less money, a wire brush, some rattle tins and new hub caps - et voila!! nice wheels!! And bumper overiders. And stuff called Belgom Alu polishes the westy windows up like a mirror for little money too! A bit of elbow grease mind......

Results of myself and GF's elbow grease earlier shown below.......it's only been in the country for 6 months - thought best time to get around to a bit of t cut and polish........

Maybe could spend a little on a machine polish, new paint on wheels, and new chrome dome caps probably all done for a hundred quid, as for spending the other 200......well i'll help you with that one if you are stuck!!

What's the interior like? Could it use some improvement? If you've got the wheels lined up already I'd probably sort the inside out first, maybe a leisure battery install/electric hook up or stereo install?

interior is pretty good could do with a re trim, already done the floor so all good.

Kinda like my ratty wheels :D

Leisure battery is a good plan though. Should buy somthing sensible really

Twin carbs?
OR
Why not spend the money on replacing everyday stuff like overhauling brakes, engine oil flush and change, gearbox oil change, update interior, ICE etc etc
OR
If everythings running well then just a good service and save the money for rainy days

wonder where you got those Daz?

Gotta say dave, they are great! First trip out this weekend with the carbs fitted and she really pulls up the hills now! One hill my van used to struggle up at about 45mph i was flying at 60  MPG is also the same as before if not a little better  Still gotta fit the Breather kit, turbo thomas side exit exhuast and deep sump.
