I was about to drill a hole in my buddy seat for a power outlet and then had a moment of inspiration:

Worked out quite well I think and i got a switch for free

Is that a 12 v cigarette lighter style socket?

Hey Mike, missed your reply until now! The metal socket and switch are the original US fuse for the mains hookup in my westy. The fuse was a cartridge type thing that happens to be the same size as a standard 12volt charging socket. I drilled the rivets on the original fuse holder and slotted the socket in, it had a lock ring on the back to keep it in place. Only thing I had to mod was a bend of the terminals to fit in the box.
