12v - 240v HELP NEEDED!

Hi guys n gals,

I am in the process of installing a leisure battery and a 12v-240v invertor with the help of a friend who's an auto electrician. It's all goin in an ex US 1970 bay so were upgrading the old hook up.

Were a bit stuck and need some help!

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 240v hook-up?

Also I am looking to get a fridge unit that has a 12v/240v micro switch so it can run off both...whats the best way to fit this? will i need a zig unit or are there other ways around it?

thanks for the pointer... anyone used a zig unit on here or similar? any recommendations on model type? cheers.
