17" 205 wheels spoted

spotted some 17" 205 wheels at the auto jumble today.anyone know what they might have come off ?

You sure they were 17's Strongy? What did they look like? Can't be a bus wheel as they only came in 16", 15" or 14"

In fact I would say not off any VW. Maybe very early Vauxhall

well thats what i was led to belive,but spoted these and looked identical to a vw rim but with holes like late bay wheels arond the outers and very narow.its probably the first time ive gone out without my phone this year otherwize id have taken a picture.

yeah not far of that but the holes were round.are they off some old vintage thing m?
