1968 Volkswagen T2 Delux Microbus LHD

Poppy was built on 31 November 1968 in Hannover Germany and shipped to California to be sold new.
She was originally used as a private family vehicle from new and then sold on to carry school children to their local library in Ventura county, Los Angeles California.
Brought over to the UK in 2005 she recieved a bare metal show winning restoration. Every nut & bolt was removed and replaced. All interior trim and mechanical components replaced to original specification to show winning standard.
Very little metal has been replaced on her apart from the usual battery tray & cab floor panel. All original doors and panels still remain on her having suffered no previous body damage.
