1969 Dormobile
Fully original, no lowering, tubbing ...
Westfalia interior in good shape! No icebox. Interior panels are renewed in Birch ply.
New upholstery for RnR bench, buddyseat, trunk cushion in mustard vinyl is included. Also included are the hammocks in the Dormobile roof and the small childs cot (Westy one). Original Dormobile cooker is under the passenger seat, very rare.
This is also one of the last early bays with the metal dash.
Paintwork is very good. Couple of small spots, but nothing serious. New painted bumpers, wheels with new whitewall tires; original tires and wheels are included.
Chassis is perfect, also equipped with bellypans.
Towing hitch, nice for a Essen trailer, bike rack or small caravan.
Good 1600 double port engine and a nice shifting gearbox. Brakes are completely overhauled.
Our bus is a bit too small for longer trips with two children, so we're going to the dark side and buy a late bay Berlin...
She made some nice trips in Europe: west coast of France, Spain, UK, ....
