Here, for sale is my 1969 VW bus.

He's a right hand drive British Early Bay. When I purchased the van it was no where near road worthy and looked sorry for itself! With some hard graft by my local air cooled vw specialist, and myself, it's now road worthy, and has been for the past 2 years, taking me across the country to shows and events and for weekends camping!! There has been a lot of work done on the van, I'll try and remember as much as I can!!

New front panel
New inner front valance
2 second hand rot free front doors
New drivers wheel arch
New o/s inner sill
New o/s middle sill
New o/s outer sill
New o/s lower rear corner panel
New rot free engine lid
New n/s lower rear corner panel
New n/s rear wheel arch panel
New lower sliding for panel
New battery tray

There has also been some work on jacking points and outriggers (I can't remember what's been done!!) .

Interior wise, it's has a 3/4 rock n roll bed, with some extra seating that I build with storage underneath. The front seats and door cards are original but not mint.

It has been lowered by Type 2 Detectives and has 15" chrome Radar wheels fitted.

The van will come with 12 months MOT, expired yesterday!!

I also have a lot of goodies with the van, which if sold at the right price I'll throw in!

This includes:
Full window and door seal kit, still in the packaging
Front door seal/trim kit x 1
Rot free rear hatch
Just Kampers van cover
New front indicator lenses
New rear light lenses
New chrome VW badge for front

And if your a fan of turkis green and pastel white, I have a tin of each, plus lacquer, all 2k paint, not water based!

As you can see all I had left to do was paint the van and glam up to match the new paint job, but just don't have the time to do it as I have now bought a house that needs renovating. It's an honest van, solid, and is a great opportunity for someone to paint it as all the hard work has been done!! Or if you like it how it is then the primer has been mixed with lacquer to make it less porous!!

The van has been dry stored since I have owned it and now is under a car port out of the elements.

£12,500

Please contact me for any more info. I've bound to have missed something obvious!

Viewings by appointment

Pics will follow as I have to crop them to be able to upload!

Thanks

Shaun

Hi guys and girls,

At the time, I wasn't worried about selling the van, now has come the time when I do actually need to sell this van.

I have a girlfriend that wants a new kitchen and a camper sitting doing nothing as I don't have the time to finish it!

Someone will love this van like I do and get it finished! The paint is waiting to be applied and the new door seals etc ready to go on when complete. Its just that bit in the middle, called money, which, when doing a house renovation, is in short supply!!

So I have dropped the price to a more sensible £8000 ono .
