They managed to hammer out the dent on the front , not bad.
On the back , they replaced both botton rear corners and battery tray.
The left corner and near the wheel arch had some filler from a previous small dent and after removing all the filler and hammering the dents out they ended up with this design. They had to match the design on the other side so it looked even.
Floor section was replaced , has small rust holes on the left side only.
British metal heading back home in a few weeks.
The title arrived yesterday so I need to get it to the shippers in the next few days.
Getting excited already
Someone on Instagram sent me this 2 pictures of my bus when it lived in Portland , Oregon.
Bus now with the front dent out , straight bumper , rear corners and battery tray replaced , engine bay painted and freshly rebuilt engine now being installed.
I pick it up tomorrow from the mechanic , install a few bits like this new red painted 18 gauge hubcaps , a period radio and vent levers.
Fitted new red painted 18 gauge hub caps , new bumper step rubbers , new front indicator lenses and seals , new front round side markers.
It's going to the shippers tomorrow so I need to finish a few more details.
I will take many pictures tomorrow morning of interior and exterior for my For Sale ads.
Cleaning up the walk thru area , very solid under there.
Original vent cover was replaced with one of Buttys Bits stainless steel one with mirror finish polish 8)
You can see the original Montana red under the side markers , should be easy to bring back the OG paint.
All this and a few more items were shipped inside the bus , some are for us to use during camping but all will be sold at Busfest.
