1970 VW Camper Danbury tintop tax free too
Our campervan is up for sale due to another project, we have spent a lot of money on her since we brought her, here is a few of whats been done
In the last 12 months, New tophat chassis sections x 3, new jacking points and outriggers, new chassis middle sections, new front chassis sections, new front wheel arches and under seat tubs, new inner/middle/outer sills, new battery trays, new rear corner panels, rear side panel repair panels, sliding door inner and outer lower repair pannels, replaced rear tailgate and both front doors, new brake pipes (all),
Engine is a 1600 twinport which has 2 new genuine vw heads with new valves (unleaded petrol), new pistons and rings, cylinders and rocker covers, gaskets, new air filter pipe etc.
Bluebird Rock'n'roll full width bed with new foam brought from bluebird customs to fit, foam needs covering.
Also has a good working clock in the dash which sells for over £100 and earlybay seats too, cd player with kenwood 6x9 speakers in back. Seatbelts also fitted in rear. All the locks work too which is a bonus
Bad points are paint is in need of sorting out in some places , I have some paint which I will let the new owner have, but she is very solid underneath with no welding left to do.
Mot is out 28 Aug 2010 so £5500 as it is ono.
If I have no luck selling soon I will retest it, won't fail on much at all.
