1970 westy Dynamo

Hi all.

I’ve just updated my bus and have swapped the original Dynamo for an alternator. The Dynamo is broken- bearings are shot so needs a rebuild- is there any interest in this or is it for the scrap man?

Good question bud. I’ve got loads of similar things in my garage that are awaiting an update of one type or another and darent throw them away just because someone else might want or need them then I’d be gutted if I’d turfed it out. Only thing I will say is that most are doing what you are doing because it’s such a sensible upgrade.

Scrap, unless you're going for a concours vehicle alternators are much more efficient.
