'Doris' struts her stuff in an original Neptune Blue colour with no rust.
With only 4 owners, not many people have been through her seats
A new VEGE engine was fitted less than 10,00 miles ago and supports Unleaded heads enabling our everyday petrol to be used without additive. She pulls really well with the engine running perfectly. New carburettor and a recent service ensures this.
Doris has had a recent interior refurbishment and suites her colour extremley well. A Black and White fabric covers her original Rock&Roll bed along with the two 'Buddie' seats which she still carries. ( Not shown in pics ). Black Vinyl covers all the interior door panels, and a cheque Black and White theme for both the floor and curtains.
Doris has been welded in parts at the front 1/3 of her chasis to a good standard, with the remainder being untouched and in excellent condition. Waxoyled to improve her looks and make way for the winter!
11Mth MOT with no advisories. Tax exempt.
Her outer shell has had new rear wheel arches, new bottom to sliding door, and new panels to the lower O/S. In light of these improvements she was resprayed to bring her back to life. This however has not been done to a great standard, and could benefit from a respray and professional preporation, but this is not essential. She looks pretty good as she is! Ripples are visible along the lower half of her body in places if looking down the side.
New window seals, and Tailgate, Engine lid, Side door seals.
Roof canvas has two rips to the back section of the bellows, and could do with being replaced. Inside the engine bay, rust is evident to N/S and O/S bracket sections and would need repaired in the future.
Doris does have scuff marks inside from 40 years of use, but nothing major.
Dont expect her to be perfect, as she isnt. But a very sound van!
