Nice one does that mean your gonna resto it or its done and these pics are the before? nice to see you putting the low indicators back, are you removing the bulge as well?

hI - YES PICTURES ARE BEFORE THE RESTO IS COMPLETED WHICH IS STILL ONGOING. ORDERED IN 8 PANELS AND NOW TAKING IT FOR SOME WELDING.

MY WIFE WANTS TO KEEP THE FRONT SPARE - BUT I WILL BE DITCHING IT.
ANY (POLITE) SUGGESTIONS ON WHERE TO KEEP SPARE - DONT WANT TO PUT IT ON THE BACK?

I'm keeping mine on the rack (purpose built hanger)... bluebird do a drop down rear hanger...Design 21 (slim_adi on here and adlchelsea (i think)) were working on a few ideas for roof mounted carriers incorporating other features....

Thanks for the advice. only had my van since September so still learning.
I carry bikes on the tow bar for the kids - do you know if it is lowered by type2 detective whether it will affect its carrying capacity much/
thnaks

Not sure suppose it depends on what exactly your mounting....and how you intend to carry the spare in the end...
