Having to tighten our belts due to loss of income.... :(
So... My 1971 earlybay has got to go....
Owned for about three years by me. Came to me without engine/box, so sourced a used one & enjoyed..!
Bought it as a long term plan. Let the mot expire a couple of months ago, & the plan was to undertake a full restoration, to leave us with a forever bay.... :? As with many at present though, situations change, and therefore so do plans.
It is advertised on ebay too (130616862694), but, seeing as people on here know what they're looking at, will keep it to a critical description... ;)

Good Bits....

Underside appears & sounds pretty solid. Strong engine/box (some float but sounds smooth). Kadron 40's, set up well. Electronic ignition & alternator conversion. Adjustable shocks on rear (lowered). Solid adjustable front beam (changed by me cos the original was rotten). Empi 5 spokes. Empi quickshift (not sloppy). Nice rev counter in third pod on the dash. Up until the mot expired, was a good, reliable driver. See no reason why it wouldn't have gone through again...

Bad....

THE POP TOP HAS BEEN SOLD, IE NO LONGER THERE...!!! Please ignore it in the pictures.
Rear two thirds of the roof/gutters are rotten. Plan was to go back to tintop, using a rust free imported cut. Probably could be repaired if you wanted to though. To save embarrasment, I covered it with white tape, as seen in the pics..! Rear upper corners need doing too. Was going to do the same with imported cuts. Drivers front wheel arch needs repairing. Both front door lowers...

My situation now means that it will probably sit outside untouched for a very long time, as I don't have the time or funds to start the restoration. Would like to see it go to someone who can do him justice....

Has a new (2month old) JustKampers cover too, as would get a bit wet with the hole in the roof...

Can't seem to be able to upload pictures, say my file quota has been exceeded...??

Have a look at them on ebay.
Says £3295 on ebay. (offers.... ;) )
I am looking to take far less than I paid for him. For not a massive amount of money in panels, you can have a good, solid rhd bay....

In East Cornwall, not far from Plymouth.

Thanks. Steve. 07590 605509
