1971 Westfalia LHD 'crossdresser Bay', supplied new in California where it stayed until 2010 when it was imported into the UK.
Professionally restored in 2010/11 to a very high standard: must be one of the best!,
No rust whatsoever, It has had a full professional respray (as previous finish was heavily sun-bleached!) in original Sierra yellow. Full photographic record available. The restoration did not involve any welding just replacement roof canvas window rubbers , engine etc.
Replacement Vege 1600cc engine which has done less than 2,000 miles, fitted with all new ancillaries, New cab interior. New headlining throughout, new curtains, refurbished elevating roof with new roof canvas. New complete window rubber set , overhauled brakes , recent tyres, new rear flooring but otherwise camping interior completely original and in excellent condition for its age!
Its in amazing condition and drives superbly!
