Welcome to the sale of our 1972 vw crossover bay( early bumpers and late rear lights) we has this imported from Arkansas USA early last year.we the went through the long and expensive process of registering it and getting it up to uk road standards, engine was overhauled as we're brakes. Suspension lowered, can go lower if wanted. All window and door seals inside and out were replaced, interior was left complete original apart from it was wax oiled and insulated wooden floor put in( which looks amazing).
Alot of people ask us when are we going to get it resprayed! This van is 40 years old and being from near Texas in the states is completely dry and solid, underneath is spotless and looks cool. We wanted to keep it as original as poss and it's got character and liked the original rat look.
If you are seriously interested then email or call me for a viewing or test drive and more info! Reason why were selling is because me and my girlfriend are off to Australia in 5 weeks and could do with extra cash!!
Van comes tax exempt and not untill may but will fly through as e have has such extensive work done to it! Runs amazing and will be sad to see it go! Comes with a boot full of cool stuff, rusty over riders, new wax oil, original features and Haynes manual!!! Curtains and cushions!
We have had alot of fun with this camper and I'm sure who ever he goes to will too!!
I have seen vans similar go for a hell of alot more!
