1972 Dormobile crossover year camper van. This camper has been sitting for a number of years, she started up and I drove her a few hundred yards but the gas is bad and she smoked and burped and coughed!
Exterior has been repainted long ago. Looks like it was just resprayed on top of original paint w/o sanding/primer. Misc. dings and rust but definately not a rust bucket.
Interior cabibnets are in great condition, this is my first dormobile with actual Dormobile cabinets, looks like all the little pieces are there? Very cool stove behind passenger seat looks like never used. Water tank and propane tanks are there, no flooring but thats an easy custom fix. Canvas on dormobile top is in good original condition, not perfect but definately presentable. Cots were not opened but one appears to be ripping and fragile.
This was a Texas bus that made it to Arizona where it's been for 5-10 years. May polish out kind of cool with the variety of shades of red, could be a cool patina look??
Also has the AC system under the dash, condition un known.
Front small vent wing windows are stationary, you don't often see these kind of cool.
3400 pounds delivered to your shipper in the Long Beach Port area. I can refer you to a number of different shipping companies, they average around $1400 US to Tilbury Port, and then your misc. VAT, duties, unloading charges(check forum on specific costs) as well as directly into Derbyshire via a UK friend that sends containers over weekly. Lots of UK references available, feel free to email or call with questions. I can also forward you any specific pictures of this camper.
I have other VW vans available as well.
cheers
