I am regretfully selling my Bay Bus. She is a 1972 tax-excempt LHD Westfalia imported last year from the US of A. She comes with a years MOT and Tax.

She is a good little runner and sleeps 2 on the rear rock and roll bed, 1 in the hammock up top and a small un (under 5 years old) in the hammock that fits above the passenger seat.

Extras include the Swamp cooler (minimum £200 if bought separately), bamboo parcel shelf (not fitted), £200 worth of window seals (not needed on the bus but taking up space in the shed!), a bluebird front beam lowering kit, fitted fan and loads of other bits that can be sold on- minimum worth £700. Aluminium side step as well. Also a Bluebird Rear wheel carrier is fitted that retail at £250. This does not include the hammock for the small child up front.

GOOD POINTS:

solid underneath- check out the wheel arch pictures.

Engine runs well.

Burns no oil!!

steering handles well.

Brakes are GOOD! (the MOT last year said best brakes he has ever had on a Bay).

No rust showing.

A straight bus with straight panels.

New canvas canopy.

Interior nice with cigarette sockets scattered around the bus for power.

BAD POINTS:

Paintwork not brilliant but fit for purpose. Could do with a good buff and a really deep wax to get her looking at her best.

Previous owner tried to abrasive cut the panels to get the paint to stick in areas but not the end of the world.

Rear wheel arch solid but not a brilliant blending job- see pic.

Filler work on door not brilliant but solid.

CD player not working however power does go to the radio- however everyone owns an iPod in this day and age so the drive home won't be too bad.

Based in Sutton Heath Suffolk (IP123TZ) and can be reached on 07967 620016 or landline 01394 421672.

Any questions please ask.

Looking for £10,500 or near offer.

All the best,

Tony.

In answer to a pm she has 2 keys and each key opens all the doors and starts the engine too ;) a key for you and if you want a key for the other 'alf!!

Hi all.

Bus had to get totally rewired prior to passing MOT.

She is still for sale- 12 months MOT and running like a dream. All work carried out by VW Anticks of Woodbridge.

Make somebodies Xmas- buy them an orange bus!!!

Merry Xmas all!!!
