34-pict 4 carb or 34 pict 5???

Can anybody tell me the difference between a 34 pict 4 carb and a 34 pict 5 carb will it make a difference to my van if i put the pict 5 one on? its a standard 1600 twinport engine that currently won't idle!!!

it has a bocarb carb on at the moment but i've found a solex 34 pict 5,

You been looking on ebay ?

I think a pict 5 is for a 1700-2000.

I might be wrong though
