Have you checked to make sure your drums are not the type that can be removed without removing the whole hub? - Just a thought.

Thanks Trikky2 - yep I have - The 71 MY crew cab does have the easy remove hubs - but the '68 doesn't. It has new probably repro wheel cylinders all round - one is already leaking.
