67 crewcab

Hi everyone, Just got a heritage letter back from vw uk, stating that my crewcab was built on the 7th of July 67, Does that sound really early? i didnt think thay built any vans untill August.?. And does this mean when i register it i will get an E plate or still a F? Thanks.

The plate is missing with the m codes :roll: some one took out the bulk head in the past. so does anybody know the earlest manufacture date?
ps my bad it is august not july
