Hi all!
Can't really believe I'm doing this,
But up for sale goes the speedmaster!
Still the earliest westy tintop in the country!
So here's the spec off the top of my head,
full westy interior including stool
4inch narrowed Slamwerks beam with dropped spindles
notched chassis up front
csp disc brakes up front
1303s gearbox conversion from roadhouse retro
t2d adjustable rear spring plates
1600 twinport with 34ict webers
fully polished speedmaster wheels
am probably gona regret this!
The reason for the sale is I want to restore another early bay with shiney new paint
an would never repaint this bus as it's way original an cool just how it is!!!

Any repairs been done on the bodywork or are there that need to be done? Also have you any plans on driving to the southwest before the summer is over?

Hi,
the body is rock solid! The only repairs that have been done are to thte front floors with proper panels!
An just a small repair under the front screen an that's it!
So about 95% orignal paint too!
I wouldn't think ile be over that way but if you want to come an veiw it I'm near Skegness in Lincolnshire!
Thanks for the interest!

Tim at Roadhouse Retro did the small repairs that needed doing to it, and he has an amazing ability to weld and finish to perfection.......it will be done absolutely right.

This is an amazing bus and well under priced IMO.

Good luck with the sale, and don't let it go for under £12k

Thanks for the info Wilf and I have to say the 'Speed Master' is very tempting. I've been holding out for a tin-top split for a flippin long time, however I've always had a soft spot for early Bays in this colour. Narrowed at the front a little too much for my liking but the unique paint looks a whole lot of fun. A real beauty for sure, you've got me thinking........

I assume the colour is 'savannah beige' inside and out but do you know what year the SM graphics was added?

Shame I'm not a little closer to you.
