Time to sell my 68 Deluxe bus.

I have had her for about 18 months and she has never let me down.

Only selling as I have just had delivery of a RHD project bus from South Africa and I need the garage space.

Here is the low down (some taken from the top fella I bought her from - cheers Simon!)

If you are interested, come and look. A genuine, solid bus. Just done Glastonbury and she never missed a beat.

Bodywork

Replaced the battery tray and buffed the patina back to life.its not og paint but its old and has lots of nice battle scars
Fully undersealed but could do with another coat now
Fairly obvious bumps on the front panel and cab floor is rough but plenty of more years left

Mechanicals

New Wagenwest front beam and ancillaries
New Wagenwest dropped spindles
new brakes and lines
new cv boots
dropped two splines
new shocks all round
Suspension, brakes & steering fully sorted and set up by my fried Karl at Wolfsburg Wizards

Electrical

new nos fuse box
new nos indicator stalk
new horn
new headlights
new rear lenses
everything works bar the fuel gauge (works but sometimes sticks)

Interior

nice black front seats
plain black door cards
roller skate window winders
have the og radio but its knackered
Rusty Lee Rock n Roll bed
Brand new Delilah’s VW Furnishings (http://www.delilahsvwcamperfurnishings.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) cushions
Headliner is ratty…

Wheels

heritage radars with 175/55 nankang fronts and conti 175/55 rears

Engine

new bosch coil
new bosch dizzy
new vw heads
new bosch leads
weber 34 icts
full vintage speed stainless exhaust with j tubes
alternator conversion
new pushrod tubes

Forgot to mention she has a long MOT and drives sweet.

I have spent a good £2k this year alone on dropped spindles and suspension set up.

Comes with OG beam, spindles and steel wheels if you want to return to stock.

Come on - open to offers!
