I know . He has an awesome stable of classic German metal. The total was 7 at the last count. I wouldn't mind being a couple of Dubs behind him :mrgreen:

On another note, my bus has become a little difficult to select 1st and 2nd gear. I will have to go and investigate :msn4:
Luckily I put a little inspection hatch in the floor when I was doing some repairs last year. Gonna lift it and have a look now.

Started to clean up the tp heads I got t'other day.
Notice the small cracks on one head. Anyone know of an aly welder?

The other head seems fine.

Just need to blast the heads clean and then fit new guides and valves and jobs a good un.

Got me valve keep sorted. Should be good for use over again.

I pulled the motor the other day as it was pissing oil from seemingly everywhere! I put it down to the twin dells as they will increase the gases being blown by the pistons. Done over 90,000 so due a strip down.

Had some help

I put this tp motor from my '70 in with the dells on and a breather to try and cure the oil leaks. we shall see.

Started late and t'was dark when we finished

just got to hook it all up now and see hoe she goes.
This motor has a bit of end float and could do with a re-con really. I'm taking a bit of a risk for the journey down to the volksworld show, but I'll be takin it easy. Fingers crossed.

Yes I did import the Bus. Now sold to Norm here on the forum. He has it all Mot'd and ready for the Summer! I can't wait to see it rollin!
