its funny i looked at it and thought **** this is quite expensive and then i thought.....

i took my camper off the road to do a resto. i have replaced,
front and rear floors,
front clip
all doors
inner outer wheeel arches on front and back
all outriggers and jacking points
inner, outer, middle sills on both sides
tophats
door frame sections, window areas

all i can say is that this bus just shows what mine had underneath - maybe not quite to the extent in some areas, but if you are going to have to replace the outer front wheel arch for example, then is doesnt mater if its rotted, or completely disappeared.

suppose what i'm trying to say is, good luck with the sale its alot cheaper than buying a runner and doign a project on it

That was my thinking behind it, if the arch for instance has to go it doesn't matter if its freshly painted filler or non existent, if you are to do a proper resto its all got to come off and it also means theres not as much to remove!!

To be honest its the paintwork that makes it look so ****, if it was white all over and rotten it wouldn't look so bad but the PO painted in various colours of rust preventing paint and house emulsion and with the replacement rear hatch and front doors not matching it looks even worse.

Underneath the crap, its a 37 year old UK bus, it will need work.

It could be on the road for 2/3k obviously nowhere near perfect but a solid usable van.

Cheap bus - iv seen people buy shinney sh1tters for £5-£6 k and 12 months down the line the rust comes through and the filler cracks! what you see here is what you get- no hidden suprises!! good luck, if all else fails put it on evilbay you may get more

Looks like a good price ,I paid almost a £1000 for mine 3 years ago and that was probably in a worse condition than this one.Good luck with the sale dude.
