Going to get my sill replaiced, when anybody gets in the middle sill with door track back in stock.

Do i need to remove the interior, or can it be left in. Welder a bit concerned that the van might go up in smoke.

It is advisable to do a pukka job ;) at least removing the floor coverings over the sills because if the repair is done properly the spot welds should be drilled out which is much easier to by drilling down through the floor, obviously the floor will get very hot when welding in the new sills, plus it will need a coat of paint when finished to prevent the van rotting out from inside. Thats my thoughts anyway

Yeah its worth whipping the interior out just in case. Also it'll save it getting covered in grinder dust and all the other crap that floats around in the workshop air and settles on any flat surface.
