Morning All,

The weather is changing and it is about time I get cracking on the Van again.

I am looking at investing in air to run a grinder and air chisel and few other less powerful tools and do a bit of spraying.

At the moment I have not set myself a budget but would like a vertical tank if possible due to space.

I have trawled the internet and the choice is massive and have seen some that are unable to run an air hammer for longer than a few minutes.

Any advice would be well received and would assist in my research!

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve

I got myself one of these about a year ago
http://www.burisch.co.uk/prestashop/product.php?id_product=2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Runs everything i need for doing the van - airsaw, air chisel, impact wrench etc.
Not an upright model but sits in the corner of my garage ok

Looks nice and reasonably priced for the power too.

My Dad has a load of tools so I assume the fittings are standard? I note they have their own brand tools too.

Fittings are the universal type and i get mine here... http://www.screwfix.com/p/universal-connectors-male-pack-of-5/54413" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Got a pile of tools from ALDI that use the same fitting and for all i do they are perfect

You can change the couplers on the machine itself if you are using the BSP type - prob the type your dad is using

:D
