I'm looking for a few panels for my bay, I wanted to get all autocraft parts but they don't make the ones I want. Has anyone tried Alan schofield parts, I wondered what the quality was like?

The odd occasion that I have asked them if their parts are Klonkenholm or however you spell it, they have been honest and stated they are a poor quality reproduction. I would advise against the Klonkenholm stuff altogether. It seems that JK are selling a lot more UK made parts now days, you could try them? What parts are you after?

schofields are honest and like said before will tell you if they are crap. They will also tell you if or how to remedy the crap fit if its possible.

the schofields panels that they make and sell are excellent quality. they're usually the bits that the other folk (JK etc) don't sell, but if you're in doubt give them a call. they bulk up their stock by flogging the usual stuff as well.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'm after the rear cross member, the one which has the hear pipe running through it. The nice men at the docks in the US used a fork lift truck to lift the bus up and made a right mess of it. I've spoken to dean and classic car revivals and he is coming to have a look at it for me but I think it needs to be replaced either way

Schofield hand made panels are really really good, sure he sells Klokenshite like everyone else and genuine like everyone else but their own stuff is awesome for the money.
