hi all,

fuel smells when tank is full,i replaced a kippered breather pipe, also the cap seems to be leaking out of the lock, also the seal to filler isnt mega tight.reckon i need a new cap.

has anyone had one that does the job? and where from i see cool air/heritage/c&c do them but wondered which are any good, had probs with bits recently and dont wana waste my cash. not fussed if its locking or not and my vans a 72.

cheers,steve.

I've got a heritage fuel cap (not locking :( ) and it does the job. Bought it for the same reason as your after 1 and haven't had any issues since. Its a bit tight to get on and off but this isn't a bad thing

schofields usually have em,,need to ring tho there not listed on the web site.£20 and fit very tight

Cheers guys,

located some spare rubber at work today that may do the trick, guess its worth a try before i splash the cash on a new one. cheapskate that i am :)
