Hi Ant,
i seem to remember that up for sale a couple of years ago, i was very tempted by it too, ( its was a it too far away for me at the time) i think it was up for about £10 ish if its the same one, i wonder if there is black and white checkered flooring under that mad matz floor in the back, really nice van by the looks of it

I noticed this was still for sale for the other day yet the ad was placed back in December, I seem to remember seeing it for sale before but I'm not sure it was on here though.

I thought this was beyond Jon's budget which is why I didn't mention it,

EDIT .. its been in the country less than 2 years as it was first registered in this country in June 2008

Hi Ant, it looks almost the same as i remember, although i think when it was for sale before, it had a microbus interior in it (like 61 stu's bus)....but the floor covering wasnt original, i could be wrong though, and im sure the ad was saying the same about the engine being strong etc, and the body being all original and straight, but like i say my memory can be a bit sketchy at times (think its all the glue i sniff at work) i think it had like a black and white checkered sticker round the windscreen or somewhere on it???,.............dont know if its possible but i wonder if you could search the samba archives, because thats where i saw it, (if it is the same one that is?)

Heres a list the seller sent me of the mechanical bits and bobs it's had done, sound fimiliar to anyone?
New steering box
Re-built front beam, ball joints etc
Re-built front brakes
Heat exchanger cables
Heat exchangers
Re-built twin Kadrons fitted
Petronix ignition
New alternator
The engine is a new mexico unit with around 10,000 miles on it now.
Rear shoes and cylinders
Subtle lowering to front and rear
New headlights

dude that bus was a shell! i shit you not and it was extensively rebuilt by " geldof" off of here.He`s a vw specialist so his labour on his own bus was free.The parts alone came to over £6000! Its one of the best rhd busses in the country and for that money is a f££££££g bargain.Isn`t it now a hire whore for syncrospares? excellarate etc?
If its for sale ...buy it.Its had every moving part either reconditioned or replaced

its defo the same bus.I noticed it in their shop tour and was stoked to see it again.It was basically a rust free shell of a deluxe when i imported it approx two years ago.Jeff who works at 50-67 and is the " man" when it comes to anything vw did all the work on it for his own enjoyment whilst he was repairing his split that he had a head on crash in! Anyhoo he did a proper job and that bus is a stonker...good luck getting hold of it

Only i was in touch with them on monday but since then i have had no reply in emails and have tried on a few different computers to access their internet site but none of them will connect. Also the ad on the samba has been deleted. Anybody had dealings with them before now? Or have they run into trouble? Ill try and ring them again cause wanting to view the bus.

i can get on their site without a problem and the bus is still on there for sale mate
