When I bought my van a few years ago it had a fibreglass 'shade' over the windscreen (a bit like a Splitty) - I didn't like it so I took it off and sold it, but I've never seen another and wondered if it would have been an original Devon accessory?

Can anyone shed any light on it for me?

Its not the roof part of a baysplits conversion is it?
(baysplits made fibreglass fronts for bay windows to make them look like splittys)
 
Remember them from old volksworld adverts, will try and dig one out & scan it.

You may be right there Loxy, funny thing is I've just seen one removed from a late bay the guy was led to believe the front was sound, got a nasty suprise when the fibreglass split front came off.....needless to say the cheap resto he thought hed got just got a lot more expensive....
