This is a great Apple Power Mac G5 2x 2GHz machine for sale – £150
This is a fast and well kitted out Apple Mac, ideal for anyone that is interested or involved in graphic/web design, photography/media/content production or any form of digital art.
It has 250GB SATA HDD installed (with a spare expansion bays if you wanted to further upgrade?) which I have wiped clean and installed a clean version of OSX 10.4.11 (Tiger) and run all necessary updates, so the Mac is good to go!
The graphics card has been updated with a Build to order option of a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro with 128MB of DDR SDRAM with 2x dual link DVi connections for dual monitor support unto 1920 x 1200 resolution. It is currently fitted with 3GB of SDRAM (expandable to 8GB)
Connectivity is its middle name with a plethora of ports including FireWire 400 (x2), FireWire 800 (x1), USB 2.0 (x3) and Optical digital in/out, built-in 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet and 56K V.92 modem, plus of course the optical 4X DVD-R/CD-RW ’SuperDrive’
It has some of my fully working/usable studio software on the machine, which I'm happy to leave on as you might find it useful, or you can simply delete it if you prefer, your choice, however, no software discs are included in the sale…
By default this includes;
• The full Adobe Creative Suite CS2 software suite with Photoshop, ImageReady, InDesign, Illustrator, GoLive, Bridge, Acrobat Pro, Acrobat Distiller
Macromedia Studio MX with Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks and Freehand
• MS Office with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Entourage, Messenger
• iLife (iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand & iWeb)
• iWork (Pages & Keynote)
• plus all the other usual suspects such as iTunes, Firefox, Safari, iCal, Mail, Dictionary/Thesaurus, Toast Titanium, MSN etc.
The case is pretty clean throughout, although there are some very minor cosmetic marks externally from normal usage as you would expect, but nothing to write home about.
