I have managed to get a badge off ebay for the front of the bay but the 4 locating pins look like they have been broken off. I can see where they should be, how can i fit the badge without these pins? The badge is a tatty chrome plastic badge that i will be painting white (to suit the colour scheme were planning) but not sure how i can fit it without these pins. I have some badge clips but dont think these are any good on the own.
Will double sided tape do?
Any other ideas, please :( :? :?:

Any of these products will do

I use them at work.we stick 8x4 sheets of trespa 10mm thick ,externaly on buildings 30-40 metres high and they stay on ,with a 10 year guarantee
So im sure a badge will last :)

You sure it had legs?
The plastic badges I've fitted have little plastic clips that go in the front panel and they grab onto short plastic tabs on the back of the badge/

Just remember theres still little feckers out there nicking VW badges, if its sealed down you may keep the badge but at what cost to the panel?

Looking at the back of the badge it does have 2 little clips on 2 of the points where i thought the legs should go, maybe it never had legs as there doesn't appear to be any signs of breakage.
How do these little clip things work then? The clips i have bought require the badge to have legs hence my original question
