Badge size

What would the correct size front badge be on a 1970/71 Westy , as Ive found 2 holes in the front panel, approx 6 1/2 ins apart . Not sure if they were for a spare wheel carrier :?

Stock badge is about 10" across.

How big are the holes in the front panel? Badge has 4 holes, each 2-3mm diameter.

Thanks for the info ,the holes must have been for a spare wheel carrier, they are about 4-5mm dia, and as I said only 6 1/2 ins apart .Cheers

Hmm, sounds like they could be for a badge?

The 4 pins are not on the outer rim of the badge afaik, but on the V and W letters.

Not got one / pics of the back of one here I'm afraid.

Sounds closer to the size of the late emblem mountings though they have three holes.....
