Need to do for the MOT.

Is this an easy job? (i'm not the best mechanic- totally shit), or am i best taking it to a man who can?

Their not that bad buh, hardest bit is splitting the ball joints from the spindles. DON'T HIT THE THREAD!!!!

I have the same predicament Ed!
 
It's not that hard, but more pleasureable if you have one of these (the blue one). The small one's for track rod ends.

Take a note of where the camber nut is adjusted for re-assembly.
 
you can split ball joints by stricking them with one or a pair of hammers with no damage caused , :D
check it out on you tube ;)

ive done it on my bays bottom joints then fitted a new cover,

you need to get neoprene covers they stretch to at least twice the size and dont split,

Are they easy enough to get back together, or will i need any special equipment for that?

Where would i get neoprene covers from?
