If you are talking about the front suspension ball joints then yes, the easiest way is to find somebody with a press to press them out and then they can press in the new ones, but I am lucky as I had the use of engineering equipment, I knocked out the ball joint spindle and took out the internals then used a die grinder to grind two grooves in the pressed in sleeve and collapsed it inwards so that it just pushed out, then I took them to a local garage and got them to press in the new ball joints.
