ball joints

hi,im in the process of changing my ball joints.ive ordered 4 from flea bay that the seller says fits top or bottom.
ive took the bearings out of the spindles and the top bearing has a tapered shank and is totally different to the bottom joint.
can anybody tell me if there are different joints and how can people say they will fit top or bottom!!.
also any ideas how to get the ball joints out of part that connects them to the beam.do i need to take the beam to a garage to be pressed out?ive only tackled the one side so far so hopefully i aint done too much damage.
does the anti roll bar need to come off?

The ball joints are the same top and bottom on a bay,

You will need to get them pressed out of and the new pressed into the trailing arms.

Yes you will need the anti roll bar removed.
