I'm thinking of getting some of the shelves that fit under the dash. Just wondering where to get them, which are best etc. Any advice greatly appreciated

Can't help you fella, because asking the same question myself along with the complication of De-luxe air vents being in the way of a standard shelf. Sorry, don't mean to hi jack your thread, but maybe we can both get an answer!

Heritage do them for about £75 but they dont mention if they fit busses with the deluxe type vents, wouldnt mind a set myself.
Karmann Konections are about £130 but are the proper bambus type and look pretty cool.

Fast Fred on here (of Ninove fame) has fitted one to a deluxe bus, with some difficulty!. He has a thread about it on here I believe.

I got one of the bamboo shelves (the cheaper one) for about £65. Not the easiest to fit as there are no instructions so its a bit of a guessing game. The more expensive shelves (the bambus ones) are about £100.

Seen a few of these recently fitted and not overly sure on them, they look cool and i could do with the storage but not sure, can think of better things to spend my hard earned on

heres 2 ive had, very handy for storage

....dont think the KK ones are really any different to the cheaper ones in style :?

Original Bambus were one piece not two..... :?:

I got mine from the US with Bambus plates......paid about £30

Very nice and great for 'stuff'

Can't comment on the Bamboo parcel shelves but we made our own under dash parcel shelf out of plywood. We mounted it lower than the bamboo shelves so that we could use the fixings for the air ducts to support either end so that we didn't have to drill any additional holes and then fabricated to brackets to support the centre that attach to the two rails either side of the handbrake mechanism underneath the dashboard.

mine fitted with the deluxe vents no problem, they just rest ontop of them

a great addition imo :)

Everything from Karmann konnection is expensive, but their stuff is 'the sh*t' too 8)

these are deffenantly on my wanted/to do list for my bus, will go for the cheaper ones as egotrippins shelves look just as good as slammedretos, seems like your just paying for the name for the bambus ones.
