Battery earth connection

Spent a long time degreasing and spraying the engine bay which now looks great, but having sprayed over the battery earth to body screw hole I cannot remember if it is just the screw connection which forms the earth or whether I need to scrape the paint away under the strap end where It connects to the body! Could someone please have a look at theirs and let me know. Thanks

you would be much better to scrape a small amount away
