Beetle to buy or not to buy

Hi all I have been offered a 1962 beetle solid under body all original only bit of rust is on the boot lid original paint which is faded trim all looks good £3000 does this sound a good price sorry carnt upload pics as I struggle on here

Assuming it doesn't need £3000+ of body work. I saw a beautiful minter 1964 Beetle, failed its MOT because it was rotting from the inside. Legal case now, purchased for £16K :shock:

Sounds good to me. We spent £7k very easily on buying and restoring one to our spec and know many others who have done and spent about the same

Sound like a plan might take it for a not first but to be fair it's a good friend of mine who owns it

if its solid do it. 3k is a steal the early 60s 1200 engine is great.
