went on a great run after sorting the engine out, new carb, points, condenser, plugs leads etc etc etc

nice long run, 80 mile round trip

ran like **** the next day..............just went to check the valve gaps, as id been far to busy..........bounced 2 valves

and reckon ive bent 1 of the rods
