Hi all, just had a door mirror fall off on me, it was one of the ***** quality ones with minimal thread, I don't want a repeat performance so where is best to get good quality replacements?

Schofield's do some decent ones as well

I had the c&c stainless, very happy with them although i had to lathe a few threads out of the locking nuts to get enough of the arms thread into the door.. result is a nice tight fitting mirror that gleams :D

I can't be messing around with threads, I just want a set that will fit properly and without issues, anyone had a set from cool air? I think they're Wolfsburg West. Spoke to them on the phone and the guy said they definitely have the longer thread to fit into the door.

I have The C&C ones fitted with the the plastic washer behind also.
I have had the ww ones before
They did fit ok
But the chrome went funny so they got skipped
:)
If you can find some Hagus ones
They are ok but I doubt you will find new ones

Just fitted a new drivers side one from Just Kampers, £26 each. Fitted perfectly and had just the right amount or flexibility for adjustment without flopping all over the place. Time will tell how the chrome holds up of course! 8)
