I need to make up some brake lines and the tool I got to make up the flare end fittings is tosh, can anyone recommend me a tool that doesn't cost the earth with good results please :)

well i can"t recommend anyother tool, but from experience ,where i am anyhow , going round to a local garage and having a word ,ensuring to mention i own a really old ? voltswagen camper , they for perhaps a £5 do same job for me, and ,usually i can therefore go back to them re any other prob and get at least a bit of advice .

I was looking at the Flaremaster2 its more then I wanted to pay but I have got to do my Splitty from scratch and I thought about re-doing the whole lot on the bay

This is the cheapest I can find it

Rippers. Got both the tools you suggested at work. Both do a good flair. The flairmaster is a bit fiddly, but for the money, you can't beat your second choice. Hope this helps.
