I have a 1971 Danbury bay and and currently doing a full refurb.

I intend to keep the original furniture but want to fit rear seat belts in the rear over the bench seats but have heard it can be dangerous if the seats cushions aren't secured properly.

Ive believe some people attach the cushions to the boards or I have seen a bracket that holds them in place but don't know where to get them?

What is the best way??? Advice needed!!

get some of those 'mats' that are designed to go under rugs on wooden floors to stop them from slipping. A good hardware store or Ikea do them i think. I cut them up and have stapled them to the back board and base although i have a bluebird rr bed. I also cut them up loose for the buddy seat cushions too. Does the job really well. sorry i don't know exactly what they're called. a cheap and easy fix.
