Biarritz with 4 kids

We are thinking of going to biarritz for a couple of weeks in the summer. But having 4 kids we are looking at a eurocamp 3 bed mobile home. Has anyone got any experiences of this area and campsites? We want somewhere with good weather and surfing so any suggestions would be good.

Almost anywhere up that coast down to Spain or up to Bordeaux is great. Biarritz will be rammed in July and August, so if you're going then, be prepared. Loads of campsites on the Cote des Landes (N of Biarritz) are great. Sandy, big and near the beaches, with everything for adults and kids. Not cheap mind.

Thanks for the reply. has anyone been to a eurocamp in this region and can recomend a site? i think we will try and stay away from biarritz if it is that busy.

Great area. Weve always camped around St John de Luz and Bidart rather than in Biarritz itself.

The times we stayed in Biarritz, we checked into the Raddison :lol:
