Strangely enough at 8am every Wednesday the workers on that site have a toolbox talk, so when the chopper hit the crane everybody was at ground level together, any other day they would have been working all over the building by 8! Attached to harnesses and operating cranes etc, perhaps a little lucky today?
I've been getting some stick at work though, seems that I'm bad luck apparently, I was working on aldgate station on 7/7 when it went bang (we were excavating for a ww2 bomb believe it or not)
I was also working on regent street a few years back, broke out the road one afternoon, attempted to go back the following morning and carry on but the land rover broke down (again) so someone else carried on digging in my absence, he ended up drilling through a 66kv cable and suffering 70% burns!
Don't park next to me at any shows people! :lol:
